Urban Decay All Nighter Summer Solstice Setting Spray

For the past couple of years the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray has been my go to Setting Spray. I've been through countless bottles of the stuff and I absolutely love it. It's never failed me. You can imagine my excitement when it was revealed that Urban Decay was releasing a brand new All Nighter Setting Spray in a scented version. Now, I am a complete sucker for a fragranced product, especially if it's a setting spray or facial mist.
Urban Decay All Nighter Summer Solstice Setting Spray
The Urban Decay All Nighter Summer Solstice Setting Spray is exactly like the original in terms of the formula and the only difference is the scent. It smells very fresh and tropical with the coconut and pineapple, but it's not overpowering which is good news for those that have a sensitive nose. As for the packaging, it's stunning with the palm tree design. It's the epitome of Summer.

I have to admit I much prefer this scented version of the All Nighter Setting Spray over the original, purely because I think the Summer Solstice scent adds to the experience. It's just divine. I find myself drenching my face in it every time I do my makeup.

I only ever need to set my face with it once a day, and that's after I've finished my makeup in the morning. I don't even find myself touching my makeup up with powder during the day as the setting spray does the job. It keeps my makeup in place for hours(up to 16 hours to be precise), even in this hot weather we've been having in the UK lately(thanks to the temperature control technology). There's been moments where my face feels like my makeup is melting off and I've gone to look in the mirror and my makeup is still firmly in place. No melting, creasing or fading.

When spritzed on the face it doesn't feel sticky and it definitely doesn't ruin your makeup. If anything it improves it and brings your makeup together. It hydrates and eradicates any excess powder on the skin, making your makeup look seamless.

Luckily you can get the All Nighter Summer Solstice Setting Spray in two different sized versions. There's a full size 200ml which is £24 and the smaller 30ml travel version which is £10(I purchased the full size myself with my own money and I was kindly sent the travel version from UD). The full size is much better value for money but the travel size is perfect if you're looking to take it on holiday. It'll take up less room in your bag. You can also pop it in your handbag and just use it as a refreshing mist during the day if you wish.

For someone with oily or combo skin this is an absolute must. No makeup slipping or sliding down your face in this intense heat. I have combo skin and this has worked incredibly well for me. I really can't fault it.

I'm so delighted that Urban Decay has come out with this scented version. It's just a shame that it's limited edition. I would love it to be made permanent, but for now, while it's still available I'd grab it while you can. I don't think you'd be disappointed.
