How I Control My Frizzy Hair | Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Hair Collection

My hair can be a little tough to maintain at times but with a little help from the Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Hair Collection from Shea Moisture my hair seems to be much more manageable. I've previously tried the Argan Oil and Almond Milk Smooth and Tame Shampoo and Conditioner from the brand and I really loved them so I was really keen to try more.

The Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Hair Collection is especially for those with Fine, Wavy, Curly Hair. My hair is quite fine but in no way wavy or curly, but the reason I decided to try this range was purely because it claims to be weightless and controls frizz.

My fine hair is very prone to frizz and I have baby hairs that just won't stay in their place so I'm always on the look out for products that can help to eliminate those issues. I was hoping this hair range would be the answer to my prayers.

The Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Hair Collection consists of four separate products- the Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo, Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Creme Rinse, Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Masque and the Fruit Fusion Texture Spray. I've been testing three of the four products over the last few months- the Weightless Creme Rinse, Weightless Shampoo and the Weightless Masque.

They each have the same ingredients- A fruit fusion of fresh dragon fruit, lychee berry, and green apple extracts infused with 100% coconut water to hydrate and nourish and imbe oil and aloe to lock in moisture and protect hair weightlessly.

It is a very light and gentle shampoo which is free from sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, propylene glycol and phthalates. It lathers up really well and cleanses the hair thoroughly, lifting away any dirt and oil. My hair felt extremely soft after use and it looked very healthy and shiny which I love.

This is also free from the previous nasties I was talking about above. It's a very rich and creamy conditioner which I really do enjoy, however if you have fine hair like me and apply a little too much it can make your hair feel a bit greasy so you really do need a minimal amount of product. It has a pump which I find to be very handy. I only need at least one to two pumps for my hair. I apply this on the lower lengths of my hair (avoiding the scalp) at least twice a week. It revitalizes hair, adds hydration and volume, as well as eradicating any frizziness, leaving it feeling and looking soft and sleek with added shine.

If my hair is feeling a little dry and looking worse for wear then this hair masque is an absolute saviour. You need very little product in your hair if you have fine hair like me, but if you have thick and curly hair then I imagine you'd need more for it to do its job thoroughly. I apply this evenly to each section of my hair and then go through it with a comb to ensure my hair is free from knots. I then leave it in for around 5 minutes and then rinse out. For a deeper conditioning treatment you can cover up your hair with a plastic cap, or even a plastic bag to keep the heat in and leave it for 30 minutes.

It is extremely hydrating and nourishing and it doesn't weigh my hair down or leave it feeling greasy after using it which gets a huge thumbs up from me. Many hair masks I've tried in the past have turned my hair into a greasy mess and that's just not a pretty sight.

Overall this range is beautiful. I imagine it would suit all hair types, especially since it works so well for such fine hair like mine. My hair is in such good condition since using the range and the scent of the products is just divine. If you're looking for a hair range that will hydrate, won't weigh your hair down and reduces frizz then this is would be perfect for you.
