Trying out Gourmet Popcorn from Popcorn Shed

I absolutely love popcorn. I love to grab a big bag or two for a night in front of the telly every other weekend. I have a sweet tooth so I always opt for sweet popcorn over savoury. A few months ago I was given the opportunity to try some popcorn from Popcorn Shed and I am so impressed. Myself and the boys thoroughly enjoyed trying out all the flavours of popcorn that they have to offer.
Popcorn Shed
Now, let's get the lowdown on Popcorn Shed shall we? It is a family owned brand, founded by cousins, Sam and Laura. They had always appreciated a wonderful popcorn snack and so they dedicated themselves to creating and perfecting their very own from their garden shed in 2016.

It is an award winning premium gourmet popcorn brand, entirely different from any other popcorn brand I've tried before. Not only is the popcorn made from natural ingredients but they are also gluten free too. They incorporate texture into their popcorn using chunks of nuts, chocolate and dried fruit to enhance the flavour.

I was kindly sent two of their Shed Boxes as well as their Snack Packs in a variety of flavours. The Shed Boxes are so sweet and in keeping with their brand. They contain 80g of popcorn which is a great amount. It's perfect for sharing and they're not too pricey either. Only £3.50 each.

Their Snack Packs are currently sold as a bundle on their website. It's a fantastic way of trying out different flavours. You can purchase the bundle of 14 for £18 and you get 2 packs of each flavour. The Snack Packs are all under 150 calories too which gives me an incentive to buy more.

They currently have the following flavours available:

- Pop n Choc (a double whammy of chocolate accompanied by a smooth cocoa-infused caramel base)
- Salted Caramel (the perfect combination of intense sea salted caramel popcorn topped with belgian milk chocolate)
- Pecan Pie (nutty, buttery, smooth caramel popcorn with added pecans)
- Butterly Nuts (rich, creamy peanut butter caramel with nutty notesis topped with real peanut halves
- Berry-licious (a mixture of fruity tart raspberry and smooth rich dark chocolate)
- Say Cheese (a rich, ripe mature cheddar cheese)
- Sweet Cheesus (cheddar cheese combined with sweet, buttery caramel)

I tried every flavour from Popcorn Shed except for Sweet Cheesus. I really liked them all but I have a few favourites in mind. I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed the Say Cheese flavour. I've never been keen on savoury popcorn but it was surprisingly delicious. They were very addictive. I could eat tons of them. I'm a sucker for anything Salted Caramel flavoured so of course I was going to love the Salted Caramel Popcorn too. They were very sweet but not sickly which I like. As someone with a sweet tooth I thoroughly loved Pop n Choc too. The combination of chocolate and caramel was just delightful. Very moreish.

You can currently buy Popcorn Shed products directly from their website or from one of their stockists such as Ocado, Amazon, Harrods and more.
