Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist

The Pixi Glow Tonic is the cult favourite that kickstarted my obsession with Pixi Skincare. I have been through so many bottles of the stuff, it's ridiculous. I always make sure I'm stocked up on it. I now have many of their mists and tonics in my skincare collection, and there's not a single product of theirs that I've tried that I dislike. Speaking of mists, Pixi currently have a total of six facial mists, the Pixi Glow Mist, Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist, Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist, Pixi Rose Glow Mist, Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist, Sun Mist, and most recently, the Body Glow Mist which you can use all over the body to hydrate and renew.

I have five of those facial mists, but one of my favourites is the Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist, and let me tell you exactly why I rate it.
Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist
First, let's talk about the packaging. The Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist comes encased within a plastic bottle with pastel green accents and 80ml of product, with a spray nozzle at the top. When I first dispensed it, it spitted out very finely, but unevenly instead of misting my entire face. I find this to be the same for all of the mists I've tried, however it's not an issue for me as it works just fine after first use. It then applies very finely and evenly all over my face from a short distance.

The Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist has an orange blossom water base infused with citrus fruit extracts to brighten, lavender to calm and arginine to give your skin a plumped up effect. It has a wonderfully light and refreshing zesty scent to it which I absolutely love, however I think it may be off putting to those with a sensitive nose.

It is so much more than your usual facial mist. It's described as a skin boosting toner, but it's also multi purpose. You can use it before moisturizer to strengthen and tone, after makeup to add a protective veil and hydrate, and also anytime throughout the day to revive, cool and wake up the skin.

I like to apply a few spritzes of the mist post cleansing as a toner and throughout the day on a no makeup day if my skin is looking a little lacklustre and I'm feeling a bit tired. It soaks into the skin almost instantly which was surprising.

It wakes me up and puts a pep in my step. I also find it to have a calming effect on my skin too. It reduces any redness and it also gives my skin a huge dose of hydration. My complexion looked incredibly dewy and healthy after use. Not oily or shiny in the slightest. Just a lovely subtle glow.

I haven't used this over makeup just yet as I much prefer to use it as a toner and a radiance booster. I much prefer to use the Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist or another setting spray to lock my makeup in place instead.

You can purchase the Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist for £16 at Cult Beauty which I find to be reasonably priced, especially as it lasts for quite a while. There is also up to half price on Pixi Beauty over on Boots too, meaning this mist is now only £10.67. If you want to give this a go yourself then now is the perfect time. I need to grab another asap while the offer is still on.
