My Current Beauty Favourites

This year is going by way too fast for me. We are nearing the end of April and we are heading towards Summer. Well, I say that but it's been 20+ degrees here in the UK for the past few days. It feels like Summer at the moment. Now, don't get me wrong, this hot weather is incredible, BUT I would hate to live in a country where it is hot on a daily basis. Phew, I don't know if my body could cope with that.

That aside, I've noticed I haven't been keeping up with my monthly favourites. The last time I wrote about my favourite beauty products was back in January, where I did a round up of my 2018 favourites from different categories- Skincare, Makeup and Hair. Quite a lot has changed since then. Some of my most loved products from 2018 have been dropped for something new. No doubt it will probably change in a month or so, but until then, these are my current beauty favourites.
My Current Beauty Favourites
Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Eyeshadow Palette (£46)- This eyeshadow palette isn't necessarily something I would automatically buy due to the brighter shades within the palette. I would normally go for something fairly warm or neutral, but I wanted to stop playing it safe with my eyeshadow and opt for something entirely different. I went entirely out of my comfort zone when I purchased this. I am so thankful I took a risk and purchased it as it's been my go to eyeshadow palette ever since I bought it. The colour story is beautiful and you can create so many different looks with it. It's everything I'd hope for in an eyeshadow palette. You can read more about this in my upcoming review.

Jouer Cosmetics Long-Wear Creme Lip Liner in Nude (£13.50)- This came inside my Jouer Jet Set Lip Kit in Le Nude. It is a Warm Matte Beige shade with a Matte Finish. It is possibly the best lip liner I've tried in a longgg time, and I've tried a few of them. It is so creamy, it applies so seamlessly and it lasts for so long. You needn't reapply it as it will still stay put, even after eating and drinking. Whenever I'm wearing a nude lipstick, I always apply this beforehand, and the outcome is always good. I recently featured it within my Favourite Nude Lip Combination post.

ELF 16hr Camo Concealer in Fair Warm (£5)- I have wrote a full review about this concealer here if you'd like to read everything(and see swatches), but to cut a long story short, it is the concealer you absolutely NEED in your life, especially if you're a full coverage kinda gal like me. It is everything I love in a concealer. It is the perfect shade, full coverage and it looks flawless. The only thing I must say is, if you apply it, blend it in straightaway. Don't wait too long, else it'll settle. Other than that, it's an absolute dream, and at £5 you cannot go wrong.
My Current Beauty Favourites
Primark PS...Prep and Perfect Glow Iridescent Priming Elixir (£5)- I don't want to say too much about this as I have an upcoming full review on this. I bought this purely because it reminded me of the Farsali Unicorn Essence(which is fairly expensive, and not something I'm willing to waste my £££ on). I've been using this every single time I do my makeup for the last two months, and I adore it. All I'm going to say is, at £5 it's an absolute steal. It's cheap and cheerful, and it really does work.

MAC Honeylove Lipstick (£17.50)- It pains me that the price of MAC lipsticks have increased a fair bit over the years(They used to be around £15 a few years back). That's what puts me off purchasing them. For god knows how long all I was wearing on my lips was liquid lipstick but I've recently rediscovered my love for the good old bullet lipstick, and one of them is from MAC. Honeylove is your classic nude shade. It's a light beige toned lipstick with rosey undertones and a matte finish. It feels so creamy at first and applies like a dream, but it soon settles down to a matte finish. It just looks beautiful.

Kiko Gold Waves Blush in Damask Mauve (£16.90)- This was part of Kikos Summer Collection last year so you can no longer purchase it which is such a shame as it's so beautiful. I wished I had stocked up on it when I had the chance. As the name suggests it is a mauve toned blush, but it also has subtle shimmer particles within the formula too. As I usually opt for a matte base I always make sure to balance it out with a glowy product or two. This blush gives a subtle, healthy sheen to the skin without looking too much. It is stunning.
My Current Beauty Favourites SwatchesTop to Bottom- Jouer Nude Lip Liner, Clinique Beige Pop Lipstick, MAC Honeylove Lipstick, ABH Butterscotch Lip Gloss, ELF Concealer Fair Warm, Kiko Damask Mauve Blush, ABH Dipbrow Taupe, ABH Riviera Palette- Palermo, Seychelles, Cannes

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Butterscotch (£17)- It wasn't until this year I started playing around with Lip Gloss again. I've tried and tested a few lip glosses, but so far nothing seems to come as close as the ABH lip gloss formula. I particularly love the shade Butterscotch which is a Neutral Peachy Beige. I usually apply this as a topper, after I apply lipstick, rather than on it's own. The formula is spot on. Not gloopy or sticky and it lasts well too. I just love this. This was also featured alongside the Jouer Liner in my Favourite Nude Lip Combination post.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Taupe (£19)-There seems to be a pattern emerging here. Anastasia Beverly Hills is by far one of my favourite high end brands. I haven't tried a single product from them that I dislike. I've already raved about the Dipbrow Pomade multiple times but I've recently switched up my shade. When my hair was a little darker I used Medium Brown but I've since gone lighter so I now use the shade Taupe. It is the perfect match for my blonde balayage hair. This, along with an angled brow brush make my eyebrows look more defined and this whole pot lasts a longgggg time. I can't seem to find anything that makes my brows look as good.

Clinique Pop Lip Colour and Primer in Beige Pop (£17)- This is a product that I have loveeed for a long time. I hadn't used it for a while though until the last few months. It is a pink toned nude and it has a wonderfully creamy texture to it which I love. I will forever purchase this.

And that was my Current Beauty Favourites. I don't know if you've noticed but I seem to have rekindled my love for lip products again.
