Valentine's Day Gifting for Her with UK Lingerie

Years ago, I never used to make a fuss about Valentine's Day, purely because I never had anyone to spend it with. Since I've been with Josh, he's changed that. We have celebrated every Valentine's Day together over the last few years. Next month we will have been together for five years. In those five years we've moved in together, got engaged and had three beautiful boys along the way. It all happened very quickly, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Valentine's Day is all about showing those people in your life how much you love and appreciate them, whether that's your other half, your siblings or your best friend. Now that Valentines Day is a heartbeat away, it's time to think about how you're going to surprise them for the big day. Are you going to get creative and make something bespoke with your bare hands? Or maybe gift them their favourite perfume? There are so many different ways you could spoil them. I personally think you can't go wrong with some new Lingerie.
Mimi Holliday Disco Lingerie Set
A new set of Lingerie will certainly spice up your love life and it's the perfect gift to treat yourself and your significant other to. When it comes to Lingerie, there is so much choice. You could go for a new bra and panty set or you could go all out with a babydoll, stockings and suspenders.

My favourite stores have been inundated with Valentines Day themed lingerie for weeks now, but I personally find online shopping the most enticing. I was recently introduced to UK Lingerie, a site which not only stocks lingerie from some really well known brands(Wonderbra to name one), but they also stock nightwear, activewear and shapewear too.

It's almost overwhelming how much choice there is when it comes down to the lingerie they stock. There are so many amazing deals and offers to be seen, plus they also have a page dedicated to finding the best Lingerie gifts which is great if you're struggling for ideas.

I know that Red is especially significant on Valentine's Day, but you cannot go wrong with Pink either can you? I was instantly attracted to a set from UK Lingerie which is from a brand called Mimi Holliday. I'm ashamed to say that I've never heard of the brand before. Apparently they're not as well known, but I don't quite understand why.
Mimi Holliday Disco Lingerie Set
The Mimi Holliday Disco Bra and Brief set is quite simply beautiful. It's feminine, sophisticated but sexy at the same time. That's a pretty perfect combination isn't it? The Bra and Briefs are sold separately, with the Mimi Holliday Disco Hipster Brief costing £37, and the Mimi Holliday Disco Padded Super Plunge Bra costing £57. Yes, that is quite pricey, but I personally think in this case money really does buy you quality.

The Bra is underwired, and while it's difficult to find a bra that doesn't dig into my ribs, this doesn't. The bra itself has a satin base which is extremely comfortable and I can adjust the straps to my liking. It has a half pad with a plunge effect rather than a full cup which does a wonderful job at giving the breasts a lift, as well as producing amazing cleavage. As well as that, the quality is impeccable with the sheer raised lace, scalloped edges at the top of the half cup and the little tiny bows. The only issue I had with this bra was it was a little too tight at first, even on the first hook on my back band, but that soon changed after plenty of wear when the elastic stretched out.

Moving onto the matching Briefs. They are of the Hipster style, which I have always found to be quite comfortable to wear. The Hipster Briefs have a satin and lace mix which compliment each other well. The front and back of the briefs are sheer lace with a pretty floral pattern. They are quite revealing but they're very tastefully done. The scalloped trim and the little bows at the front really adds a lovely, feminine touch too.

Overall, it is a beautiful set and it's quite literally the perfect gift for Valentine's Day. The full set would set you back £94 which is a little steep but it's a sure fire way of getting your other halfs undivided attention on that special day(if you're treating yourself).

How are you spending your Valentine's Day?
