October Beauty Favourites

What the heck, it's November already? The last year hasn't been the best. It's had it's ups and downs, and I'm really looking forward to starting afresh next year. Not only that, but it's not long until Christmas either. 47 days left to be exact! And I'm waaaay too excited for it. My favourite thing is seeing the boys faces as they open their presents. I can't wait until they're all old enough to experience the magical day.

Now that October has been and gone, we can focus on the festive season. But before we move on, I wanted to go through my October Beauty Favourites. Last month was an interesting month in the beauty world. There's been so many new releases, and I just haven't been able to keep up. There's so much that I want. I have a christmas list as long as my arm(though I'm not expecting to get everything).
October Beauty Favourites 2018
My first favourite of October is the Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink(£10). I bought it a while ago, along with the shade 'Luminoso' which I featured in a previous favourites here. Dolce Pink is a beautiful pink shade with a subtle shimmer running through it. It gives my cheeks a subtle wash of colour and adds a lovely healthy glow to my skin too which I absolutely love. I cannot say no to the price either. For £10 you really can't go wrong. I must add some more shades to my collection. I have my eyes on Rose D'Oro and Bella Bellini next.

You should all know by now how obsessed I am with highlighter. I have quite a collection of them, and the latest addition to my stash is the Ofra Highlighter in Pillow Talk(£25). A few months ago I tried my first Ofra Highlighter, and ever since then, I've been hooked. I seen this particular shade pop up on Ofras Instagram and I knew I had to have it. As soon as it was available on Beauty Bay I snapped it up and before I knew it, it was in my hands. It's a soft pearly pink shade which suits my fair skin down to a tee. It's really pigmented and incredibly creamy. One swipe along your cheekbones and you're good to go. If you're interested in giving this a go, it's currently on sale for £17.49 on BB! That's a bargain.

A while ago the brand new *Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette(£42) was released and it was exactly the kind of eyeshadow palette I loved, with the mauvey tones and pops of pink shimmers. I popped it on my Christmas List, hoping to god I'd get it. A few weeks after sorting through my Christmas List, I got this surprise package through the post, and inside was the Naked Cherry Palette. Oh my god, I squealed with excitement. It was like Christmas came early. I am so grateful. Ever since I got the palette, I haven't been able to put it down. The shades inside are so beautiful and they blend wonderfully. I've pretty much used every single shade from the palette, but my favourites have to be Devilish, Bing and Young Love. If you're into pink or mauvey tones then you may just like it too.

I have tried many different mascaras over the years and I haven't found a bottom mascara quite as efficient and easy to use as the Ardell Top and Bottom Precision Mascara(£11.95). I much prefer it for my bottom lashes as the mascara wand is so miniscule, it's easier to comb through and coat every lash without making them look clumpy. The top half of the mascara isn't too bad either, it adds some drama, but not too much. It's quite affordable too at just under £12. That's not too bad, is it? If you want to know more then just head over here to read my full review.

This couldn't be a monthly favourites without a new favourite lip product, and this one is from the drugstore for once. It's the new Rimmel Stay Satin Liquid Lipstick in Sike(£5.99). It's a lovely neutral pinky nude, which is just so me. It has a satin finish which is so comfortable to wear, and it has a certain shine to it too which I love. It's so well priced too. I do love a drugstore liquid lip. You can see the full review and swatches of the full range of the Stay Satin Liquid Lipsticks here if you're interested.
