Chemist.co.uk Christmas Gift Guide for Him and Her
Oh heck, this month is going by fast isn't it? Christmas is quickly approaching and I'm not even near finishing my Christmas Present shopping yet. As much as I love shopping for presents though, I do find it a bit of a struggle sometimes. My parents are easy to buy for, but what do I buy my sister, brother etc? They're always so fussy and difficult to buy for. Does anyone else have that issue with their siblings? Luckily I haven't had that issue this year.
I am forever searching the high street and online for the best Christmas gifts, but at a good price. What can I say? I love myself a bargain buy. It saves the pennies, plus Christmas isn't about gifting or receiving presents is it? It's about spending time with family. I do like gifting presents though. I just love seeing the expressions on their faces as they open their present. It's one of the nice feelings.
I have found Chemist.co.uk to be a great site for Christmas Gifts. Due to the mass of beauty websites at the moment, I think it tends to get overlooked which is a huge shame as you're missing out on some fantastic deals.
I have put together a gift guide with some of my favourite picks from the site for both Him and Her. Hopefully this will help you out if you're struggling for ideas.
I personally think that a cologne/perfume is one of the best gifts you could gift a man for Christmas. I remember buying Josh a cologne for Christmas when we first got together and he loved it, and used it pretty much everyday since that day. It will not go to waste. Yardley London Ink for Men EDT smells insanely good. It has a sensual, woody aroma, which includes notes such as bergamot, rosemary and black pepper. I can't believe it's only £6.50, and reduced down from £19.99 too. An absolute bargain!
Not only is the tin packaging completely cute and christmassy, but inside you have two full sized products and a mini travel sized product. There is the Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion(170g), Rhubarb Lip Shimmer(2.6g) and the Beeswax Lip Balm(4.25g). For those that haven't personally tried anything from Burt's Bees before, I think this set is a great place to start. The body lotion itself is worth just over £10 which I think makes it worth buying.
I personally love receiving practical gifts for Christmas, and that's exactly what this fantastic duo is. The Hand Wash(300ml) and Body Lotion(300ml) are extremely indulgent and moisturising and they both leave your skin feeling super smooth and soft after use. The scent is beautiful and it lingers on your skin for a while afterwards too. The packaging is ever so stunning too with the blush pink and rose gold detail. It would draw anyone in. It certainly did with me. I'm a sucker for rose gold and pink packaging.
L'Oreal Men Expert Active Sport 3 Piece Gift Set (£7.99)
This set contains three products, the Hydra-Energetic Quenching Gel Moisturiser(50ml), Cool Power Anti-Perspirant Deodorant(150ml) and a Gym Towel, all for £7.99. The value of this set is £13.43 so you'd save £5.44 in the process. I haven't seen this particular set any cheaper anyone else either. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be in stock at the moment, which is a shame. Let's hope it comes back soon. Yardley London Royal Pink Diamond EDT 50ml (£7.50 down from £19.99) Surely every girl loves receiving a fragrance for Christmas right? I certainly do. The Royal Pink Diamond EDT smells very fruity and fresh. Not overpowering at all. It's a beautiful scent. It has notes of mandarin, pear, peach and cassis, following on with pink pepper, peony, rose and orange flower, which is then enhanced by a warm, woody base of cedarwood, sandalwood and musk. I can't even tell you how good it smells. How could you say no when it's only £7.50? Not bad at all is it?
