March Beauty Favourites

March wasn't the best month in terms of discovering new favourites. Most of the time I was using the same products. I have a habit of doing so, but I promise I'm trying. I find it so hard to detach myself from them, so don't be too surprised by the lack of makeup favourites compared to previous months. I also found that I was makeup free during the first half of the month too as it was quite a busy time. I just didn't really find the time to do much as I was just rushed off my feet, running errands, looking after the boys and having family time. It was quite a nice change to be barefaced and letting my skin breathe, although I cant really say whether my skin was thankful for it. It's been all over the place lately, and I blame these damn pregnancy hormones.

Anyway, without further ado, let's get into my March Beauty Favourites shall we?
March Beauty Favourites 2018
Something that I've actually been using for months now, yet forgot to actually feature in a monthly favourites, is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water-Gel Cleanser(£7.99). After using a oil cleanser to remove my makeup, I go in with this as a second cleanse, or I use it as a first or only cleanse when not wearing any makeup. When the Water-Gel formula is combined with water it lathers up really well. It includes Hyaluronic Acid which gives my skin a huge dose of hydration while also leaving my skin feeling fresh and soft. It's been such a pleasure to use, and the scent of the whole Hydro Boost range is just delightful.  This cleanser has been a saviour throughout the colder, winter months. When my skin has felt parched or dry, this is the one cleanser I've reached for in order to replenish the moisture within my face.

Hair wise, I have been loving the new *Shea Moisture Argan Oil and Almond Milk Smooth and Tame Shampoo and Conditioner(£10.99 each). I don't want to say too much as I previously reviewed them here. The very first time I tried them I was so impressed. I was quite surprised how quickly I fell in love with them as I usually don't with any haircare products. They've done a fabulous job at restoring moisture and making my hair feel super swishy and soft. They're such a dreamy hair duo!

Now, onto makeup. I previously mentioned that March was mostly spent makeup free, but when I have been wearing makeup, I have been reaching for the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette(£39) every single time. Josh kindly bought it for me on Valentine's Day, which I was super stoked about. I had wanted it for the longest time! Firstly, it smells bloomin' delicious, exactly like peaches(durh!). It's not a faint smell either, but then again, it's not quite so intense. The variety of shades inside the palette are so impressive. I've actually been reaching for shades that are so out of the norm for me. I wanted to go out of my comfort zone and try something different, and I'm so glad I did. I'm surprised to say that the shades I've been using constantly are of the pastel pink-peach variety. I usually go for quite intense warm or dark shades but I've really been enjoying using them in order to create a subtle eye look.

When it comes to brows, I rarely ever change up my routine. For the past 2 years or so, it's always been consistent, using the ABH brow pomade first, followed by the ABH Brow Wiz. When I was sent the *Maybelline Total Temptation Brow Definer in Deep Brown(£7.99) I didn't have very high hopes for it, but I am licking my wounds now as I surprisingly love it. The Brow Definer has a lovely soft, creamy consistency which adheres to my brows really well, plus the shape of the tip allows you to really define and shape them. You can read more (plus see swatches) here if you'd like to know some more.

And last but certainly not least is the GOSH Contour'n Strobe Kit in Light(£12.99). I actually won this in a giveaway on Instagram a few months ago, and I kinda forgot I had it, until last month. The kit consists of two bronzers, a highlighter and a blush shade, but I've only been using the bronzers at the bottom of the palette. The shade on the left is perfect for an all over bronze to make my skin look more alive and less ghost-like, and the shade on the right is perfect for adding some definition to my cheek bones and jaw line. They are soft to the touch and blend in wonderfully. It's such a great palette! I need to try more from GOSH this year.

What were you loving in March? Have you tried any of these? Let me know!
