Shea Moisture Argan Oil and Almond Milk Smooth and Tame Shampoo and Conditioner

I have thin, coloured hair which can be quite unruly at times. It tangles up like no other and the ends of my hair tend to get quite dry and frizzy, especially when using any heat tools(though I tend to avoid them most of the time). In the past I excessively used heat products(straighteners, hairdryer, curling wands etc) and I also dyed my hair multiple times a month. My hair was in quite a nasty state as you can imagine, but luckily it's a lot better than what it was, though not back to it's 'virgin' state.

Now, as I mentioned, my hair can get quite dry and full of frizz so I am always on the lookout for new hair products that not only adds moisture back into my hair, but also tames any frizziness or flyaways. I've been trying out the Shea Moisture Argan Oil and Almond Milk Smooth and Tame Shampoo and Conditioner in the hope it'll improve my hairs texture and make it that little bit more manageable.
Shea Moisture Argan Oil and Almond Milk Smooth and Tame Shampoo and Conditioner
They each contain a natural concoction of community commerce sourced Argan Oil, organic Shea Butter and Almond Milk to gently cleanse, smoothe and control frizz, resulting in healthier looking hair. As well as including organic ingredients, they also don't contain any sulfates, parabens, phthalates, paraffin, mineral oil, synthetic colour or petrolatum, so your hair is definitely getting the best possible treatment.

The range is formulated for those with fine, frizzy, straight and wavy hair, and it's also safe to use on coloured hair too.

The packaging is nice and simplistic, though the conditioner has a pump, while the shampoo doesn't, which I found quite strange, but I like it nonetheless. The pump makes it all the more easier to distribute product without wasting any excess product. The range has a beautiful scent too. It's very appealing, and the smell even lingers on the hair hours after using which I really love.

In the past when my hair was at its worst, Argan Oil was my saviour. A little drop of it on the mid to end lengths of my hair completely transformed it, so I was happy to see such a powerful ingredient included within the range. It's been described as 'liquid gold' for a reason as it does a fabulous job at taming frizz and improving dry, textured hair.

Now, whenever I feel that my hair needs more TLC than usual I always opt for this duo of products, purely because they truly benefit my hair more than most. The combination of the two effectively cleanses, whilst also giving my hair a huge boost of hydration, making my hair feel super sleek and soft, with added shine. They play a huge part in improving the overall condition of my hair. It's so much easier to brush through after a bath/shower and they completely eradicate any frizz, whether I leave it to dry naturally, or after blow drying. There is no frizz to be seen after using them. Usually when I leave it to dry naturally I wake up looking like Hagrid, haha(Not kidding!). It is now much healthier and in better condition than it was before trying them, and of course, much easier to manage too.

I really cannot get enough of them. The Shampoo and Conditioner retail for £10.99 each, which, yes, is a teeny bit pricey, but in my opinion, totally worth it, especially if you have dry, damaged hair. You can find them located at a Boots or Superdrug store, or online here.

Have you tried anything from Shea Moisture? If so, how did you get on?
