Four to Try from Anastasia Beverly Hills

Anastasia Beverly Hills(or ABH for short) has slowly but surely become a favourite brand of mine over the last couple of years. It first started with their Illuminators, which they sadly don't stock anymore, and overtime I've purchased numerous products from them, all of which have never failed me. It's very rare that I like every single product I try from one brand, but I like that, although it doesn't particularly help the old bank balance.

Now, as I mentioned the first product I fell in love with from ABH was the Illuminator- the Starlight Illuminator to be precise. I was so gutted when they discontinued it as the formula and pigmentation was spot on, plus the shade was absolutely perfect for my fair skin. It's so difficult to find a highlighter that isn't too overly pink, nor too dark to suit my skintone so it's disappointing for me. However at this point in time I have plenty of it left and I've not hit pan on it just yet. My fingers are crossed that they'll bring another highlighter shade like Starlight out soon. Pray for me, seriously...

Aside from that fact, there are four other products that I really recommend anyone to try from ABH. Whether you're new to the brand or want to try something new from them, I can help you out. Here's a rundown of my four favourites from Anastasia Beverly Hills.
Four to Try from Anastasia Beverly Hills
I'm going to start off with my two favourite brow products to date, the cult favourite Dipbrow Pomade(£19) and the Brow Wiz(£22).

I first bought the Dipbrow Pomade around three years ago now when it was only £15.50(what a price hike, eh?) and that same pot is still going strong now. I have the shade Medium Brown which is still quite a great colour match for me, despite having changed my hair from brunette to blonde balayage two years ago. It has a creamy formula and it's so easy to apply. As the pomade is a little old it does dry out from time to time  though, but all you need is a little drop of baby oil and it's as good as new again. I find that the pomade works best when paired with the Anastasia Beverly Hills #12 Large Synthetic Duo Brow Brush(£18), which I stupidly forgot to include. It has an angled brow brush on one side and a spoolie on the other which is handy for combing out excess product. If you want something that's going to help you achieve that bold, defined brow, then I highly recommend giving the Dipbrow Pomade a go.

And one for the more natural brow finish is the Brow Wiz. Sometimes I like to use it on it's own, but most of the time I tend to use it over the top of the pomade to fill in any sparse areas where the pomade couldn't quite do the job. It is a brow pencil that makes a huge difference, with very little effort. It's quite the miracle worker.

I have only ever tried one eyeshadow palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills, but I am so tempted to buy more after trying the Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette(£43). I remember when it was first released. The whole of the beauty community was consumed with the desire to own it, however it was always out of stock everywhere. The palette features a total of 14 eyeshadows with a matte or metallic finish. Each and every single shade is silky to the touch and blends in like an absolute dream. It's incredibly versatile too as you can easily create a subtle, toned down look for the daytime, as well as a smokey look for the night time. You can read my full thoughts, as well as see some swatches here

And lastly is something for the lips, the Liquid Lipsticks(£20). They have a sponge tip applicator which glides the formula onto the lips ever so smoothly. Once applied it takes a minute or two to dry and you're left with a comfortable matte finish that wears well throughout the day. I have many different shades of the liquid lipsticks(most of which are in the nude or pink category) and each and every shade is opaque with just one layer which is quite impressive. They certainly pack a punch in terms of pigmentation. The ABH liquid lipsticks are one of my most favourite liquid lip formulas to date. If you want something that lasts well, yet feels pleasant on the lips then I highly recommend to try these. I know the £20 price tag can be a little eye watering for some, but for me, it's worth it.

Have you tried anything from Anastasia Beverly Hills? If so, what are your favourite products?
