July Beauty Favourites

So, we are now in August. How crazy is that? So much has happened in the last couple of months, as you can imagine, as I'm now a mum of two beautiful boys. In case you're wondering, Harrison is doing so well(find out more in his one month update here). Even though I have been so busy I have surprisingly always found the time to do my makeup. There is nothing better than beating my face in the morning after a rough four hours of sleep with a nearly two month old baby. It makes me look so awake, even when I'm not feeling 100% myself and it instantly boosts my confidence. I think you'd be surprised just how much it lifts my spirits. When I was pregnant with Harrison I was just so lazy and rarely put on my makeup which in turn just made me feel really urgh, but ever since he's been born I've been wearing it pretty much everytime I've gone out.
July Beauty Favourites
That means I have had a chance to try a lot of new products out, and I have since discovered some new favourites. Of course it's only fair I share them with you right? For once there is not a lipstick in sight. Who even am I?

So, first off, deodorant. Yes, it is super boring, but quite revolutionary for me. The Mitchum Pure Fresh Anti-Persirant Deodorant(£2.99) is unlike anything I have used before. It completely protects my underarms, doesn't irritate my skin and keeps them dry all day. It also doesn't leave any white residue on clothing either which is a huge plus. Not to mention it smells so good and 'fresh' as you'd expect. I much preferred the Pure Fresh scent over the others. It's so handy to have now the sun is shining and you sweat more than you usually would.

I have a new foundation favourite too. I have raved about the *Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear 24hr Foundation(£31.50) to everyone and anyone who will listen. If you're like me and love a medium-full coverage base then I'm pretty sure you might just love this too. It's so light and almost untraceable on the skin, yet it gives a great amount of coverage, but still lets your real skin show through too. I have freckles and I love how they show through the foundation but I still get the coverage that I want in places I need it. It blends in so easily too. If you want to know more about it you can find out my thoughts on it here.

Another favourite of mine from Lancome is the *Monsieur Big Mascara(£21). I don't want to say too much about this as I have a post coming up on it soon, but let me tell you, it is a beauty. I love the reference to monsieur 'Big' from Sex and the City. My lashes look very voluminous after I've used it. Normally I have to coat my lashes numerous times to get the results I want but I literally just need two coats of this and I'm good to go.

Admittedly I haven't had the *Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette(£39.50) for long but it's all I have used ever since I received it. All of my other palettes have took a back seat. It is pretty much me in a palette. I love my warm toned eyeshadows as they are the kind of shades that make my eyes stand out the most. It is so so beautiful. I thought the Naked 3 was my favourite of the Naked series, but this is just on another level. If you're interested in reading my thoughts on the Naked Heat palette then keep your eyes peeled for a review coming up soon.

For a while I was using the same blush over and over again, and let's face it, that just gets boring overtime. For a while I wanted to try the Milani Baked Blushes(£10), and a few months ago, I only went and bought two of them, Luminoso and Dolce Pink. I have been using the shade Luminoso non stop. It's a soft peachy-pink which looks ever so pretty and natural on the skin. It adds a healthy sheen to the skin too which I love. I feel like I need to add more shades to my collection now.

The *Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray isn't actually new to me, but the packaging is. If you'd read my original review(here) about it, then you'll have seen that it was orignally packaged in white and purple packaging, but I think that the new packaging is more in keeping with the brand, don't you think? It looks so edgy and grungy which I love. Whenever I want my makeup to last I always opt for the All Nighter Setting Spray. It honestly works amazingly at keeping my makeup in place all day, through the hot weather, and even the rain. It's an absolute gem! I've now ran out of my travel size and need to purchase the full size to keep me stocked up through this hot weather we've been having. The UK isn't too bad after all, is it?

What were your favourites in July?
