The Lancome Grandiose Bendable Liner

When I first started getting into makeup as a teen I quickly became obsessed with achieving that perfect cat eye flick. It first started with YouTube makeup tutorials. I used to sit at my laptop for a long while and practise until I got it right. Soon enough it became my signature look shall we say, completed with a ton of mascara and bubblegum pink lipstick. Even now I feel completely bare without a good liquid liner. Speaking of which, I have a new liquid liner to show you, the Lancome Grandiose Liner.

I must admit I find it really difficult finding a liquid liner that covers all the bases in terms of it being blacker than black and ease of application, and if I'm honest I truly think I've found one that has achieved 'holy grail status'. Huge statement but lately I have been preferring it over the likes of the Rimmel Glam Eyes liner which I have repurchased numerous times over the years and fallen in love with.

The Lancome Grandiose Liner comes in a total of 3 shades, Noir Mirifique, Brun Mirifique and Saphir Mirifique. I have the shade Noir Mirifique which is a striking black. It is totally different than any other liquid liners that I have tried before as you are able to adjust the position of the wand to allow you to apply the liquid eyeliner with ease to any eye shape. The felt tip nib is quite thin too and so that makes it easier to get into the lash line and create a thin wing. It also allows you to build the intensity and thickess up to your preference too, preventing you from making any mistakes, which I have a habit of doing, a lot. Cotton buds have served me well for years cleaning up the horrific mistakes that liquid liners have previously made but I am happy to say I no longer need them when using this. It's pretty much fool proof.

Although it's super handy being able to change the position of the wand I actually seem to prefer using it in the original position rather than bent, although it does help to flick the wing out effortlessly without any hassle. The shade Noir Mirifique is impressive too. Gone are the days when your liner fades to a dull black come grey throughout the day. Yes that happened to me as a teen and I was less than impressed. Noir Mirifigue is an intense black which doesn't change nor fade in colour which I am so impressed by. Upon application the grandiose liner appears quite glossy but it dries down to a gorgeous intense matte finish within minutes.

It is also claimed to be smudge resistant and long wearing, which I can happily agree on. I tend to wear makeup for at least 8 hours a day minimum and there was no sign of any smudging(yes, no more panda eyes!), or fading, even when raining. Now that's when you know you have a good'un on your hands.

It is however slightly expensive at £23(which you can find here) but I personally think it's worth it. I really want to try the Brun Magnifigue shade next!

Have you tried the Lancome Grandiose Liner?
