After a long anticipated wait we finally have Kat Von D Beauty available in the UK! The popular beauty range hit the Debenhams website just last week and I am so so happy. The beauty range will also be launching at Debenhams flagship store on Oxford Street, London next month too! Before the launch you were only able to purchase Kat Von D Beauty from Sephora which was slightly annoying as it was super pricey to ship over to the UK, plus it also came with custom charges on top of that too which made it all the more expensive.
Of course with KVD launching in the UK I was straight onto the website the very moment it launched and soon enough a few products were added to my basket and I was heading to the checkout. Moments before that I was actually going through youtube swatch videos of the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks because I was so unsure of what shades to go for. The shade range is incredible but in the end I ended up opting for three shades, Beloved, Bow and Arrow and Lovesick. As soon as they popped through the post I was swatching them all and trying them on and I am seriously impressed.
Beloved is not one for the faint hearted, it's a coral-pink, bright and bold, probably not best suited for the upcoming A/W seasons but it is so striking and beautiful. Bow N Arrow is a medium to dark brown toned nude, my favourite kind! It's so wearable and not your average nude which I love. Lovesick is unlike any shade I have within my whole entire lipstick collection, a mauve pink with cool undertones. The only way I can describe it is gothic barbie. It looks so stunning. I already want to try out some more shades! I'll be making a list for the fiancee. Christmas isn't too far away now. The Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks are £16 and you can find them here.
Alongside the three Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks I also picked up the Shade and Light Face Contour Palette. I have been wanting this particular palette for the longest time but as I said it was way too expensive to purchase from the US. Unfortunately when I received it one of the contour pans had smashed into smithereens. I was so gutted about it but the Debenhams team quickly fixed me up with a replacement which I am so happy about. The Shade and Light Palette consists of three matte highlighter shades and three matte contour shades, all of which are paired together for different skin tones so there's something for everyone. I haven't tried it as of yet but I am too excited to try it out. It's £36 which isn't too expensive. You can find it here.
Lastly is the famous Tattoo Liner in Trooper. This actually came free with the rest of the products I bought which I thought was a lovely added bonus. I was uhhm-ing and ahh-ing about purchasing it before but I decided not to as I didn't want to go too over the top and spend a lot of money. I am so glad I got a sample size though so I can give it a go before I decide if it's worth buying or not. The original size is 0.55ml compared to my tiny small 0.2ml and £16 which is quite good for the amount that you get. You can find it here.
I am so excited to delve more into Kat Von D beauty now it's available here in the UK. I already have my eyes on the Lock-it Liquid Foundation and Lock-it Creme Concealer but the shade range is so extensive, I don't know what would be my match. That's the tricky part, especially when there's not a KVD counter near me so it's purely based on guesswork.
Have you or will you be buying anything from KVD now it's launched in the UK? I'd love to know!
