So, you know I said about updating this blog more now that I'm a full time mummy? Well that didn't quite go to plan, however I've been super busy and I have a few posts lined up for you over the next week or so. I really should be organised more but hopefully it'll pick up and I will keep to a schedule. I know this is getting rather repetitive but I can't predict what's going to happen.
Anyway with that aside, as of late I have been doing a little bit of late night online shopping, as per. Typical ol' Lauren. There was an offer of 1/3 off French skincare on the Escentual Website and I just couldn't resist it. It was way too tempting. It only took me literally 5 minutes of browsing before I added products to my online basket and clicked checkout. That's so unlike me and so many of them were quite impulse purchases.
There was one particular product I thought of repurchasing, the Avene Cleanance Expert Emulsion, a spot busting product that I will forever rely on and repurchase, unless it stopped working for me of course. I wasn't in desperate need of another but with a third off the normal retail price(was £11.25, but RRP is £15) I thought it was worth buying another to stock up. You can find out more about it here.
I've used the same cleanser for the last year or so and I haven't thought about changing it up as I felt that it was working for me. However I got a little bored and decided to change it up a little, and realised that I hadn't actually tried many products from Vichy, besides the Idealia Skin Sleep Moisturiser which I quite like. I wanted to delve more into the brand. The first thing I spotted was the Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel, and after reading a little about it I added it straight to my basket. It was only £7.66(RRP £11.50) too which isn't too bad eh? You can't say no to that. I have used it daily since and me and my skin seem to take to it quite well thankfully. I'll for sure give you an update on it soon.
From the same Normaderm range by Vichy I picked up the Vichy Normaderm Beautifying Anti-Blemish Care. I was in need of a new moisturiser and this is specifically catered for oily/acne prone skin which sounded perfect for me. I've not used it that often but when I have it feels very hydrating and lightweight which is a sure good sign I am going to love it, hopefully. With the 1/3 off it was £9.66(RRP £14.50). Alongside that I also picked up the Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot, another spot busting product that is new to me. It claims to rid your skin of spots, yet hydrate your skin too. I am yet to try it out but I am hoping it will help with the nasty under the skin spots that I seem to be getting lately. This was just £7(RRP £10.50).
With every Escentual order comes a sample or two, and with this particular order I received a sample size of the Nuxe Multi Purpose Oil. I've heard very good things about it so I am excited to give it a go. I think I will try it first on the ends of my hair and see how that fairs before applying it elsewhere.
