theBalm Frat Boy Shadow/Blush | Review

theBalm Frat Boy Shadow/Blush
I have once again got a new makeup obsession but this time it is not a lipstick, nuh-uh, I've become somewhat obsessed with blushes over the last few weeks and I've fallen head over heels for one in particular, theBalm Frat Boy Shadow/Blush. I first discovered it on one of my favourite bloggers/youtubers(I COVET THEE) favourites videos a few weeks ago and I knew there and then I had to purchase it. It took me a while to make the purchase but I eventually got it (it got delivered on my birthday, what a great surprise!) and I've been using it ever since.

theBalm Frat Boy Shadow/Blush has a great 8.5g of product and it's very versatile, you can use it either as an eyeshadow or a blush but I much prefer to use it as a blush. It is a very natural peachy/pink shade with absolutely no hint of shimmer whatsoever, it gives my very fair skin a lovely subtle, healthy glow. I can imagine it suiting anyone with a different skin tone. theBalm Frat Boy Shadow/Blush is also paraben-free and talc free which is great for people with even the sensitive of skins.

It's also amazingly pigmented, you only need a very light dusting of it on the cheeks and you're good to go. A little really does go a long way. It's a very powdery blush so you need to tap a little of the excess blush off and then apply it onto the cheeks to prevent those dreaded clown cheeks.

In terms of the lasting power of the blush I'd say it lasts for quite a while. It stayed put all day until I took my makeup off which was after maybe 8 hours which is incredible.

The packaging is very sturdy and made out of cardboard and comes in a 'sleeve' just like there other blush products but I think it looks very unique. I do find that the cardboard packaging makes it look a little cheaper than other brands and gives off the distinct impression that it's low in quality which it really isn't. It also has a mirror intact which makes it great for travelling as you can just pop it on as you go along and use for touch ups if you wish. I absolutely love the little line along the packaging, 'so little men, so little time', it's incredibly cute.

You can purchase theBalm Frat Boy Shadow/Blush from Feelunique here for £16.75
