I can't believe today is New years eve! Hasn't this year gone by so fast? It's weird to think that in just a few hours it's going to be 2014, the start of a new year. I'm hoping to have a better year than this year, hopefully I'll have some great opportunities come my way and I'll meet some of my fellow bloggers and maybe meet someone special.
This year I don't see the point in making a new year resolution because some people never tend to stick to it anyway and if you want to change something you'll do it now, not wait until the new year. That's my opinion anyway!
I really hope you all have a great new years eve whether you're going out for a few drinks or staying in with the family.I'll be toasting the new year with the family with a few glasses of wine, perfection.I also hope you all have a great year in 2014, hopefully great things to come for you all!
Anyway enough of that chitchat, I'll stop right there and get straight to the point of this post now shall I?
A few weeks ago I started my very own MAC palette after a long time deliberating whether I should or not.
As you can see my palette is not completely full yet, it has only got four refill eyeshadows in at the moment but I'm working towards getting it full.I chose to get a single palette instead of a duo as I felt that 15 shadows were just enough for me.I also love that it has a see through lid as you can view all the shades inside, it looks so much more appealing and better that way.The palette itself cost me £14 and each refill costs £10 each which may seem quite expensive but worth the money.
So far in my palette I have the following shades:
I use 'Corduroy' for a different purpose than the other shades as I use it for my eyebrows.
I don't have a particular favourite as of yet but 'Antiqued' and 'Cranberry' are great for creating smokey eyes.
Have you started a MAC palette yet? What are your favourite eyeshadows?
